St. George Island

It's amazing what you can do with cropping, contrast adjustments and a little over-sharpening. In school we were taught to shoot "full frame" in order to learn composition within a given format. I still try to make photos work full-frame, but I don't feel guilty if cropping makes a better image. Color digital original. Click on the photo to see it larger.

Tim & Lily/Swing

Okay, so today I got ambitious and put up two photos. Both Color digital originals.
Swing: Lily, my 6 year old (okay, she's her own 6 year old. Nobody's the boss of her.) and Autumn (my 9 year old). Converted to B/W and B/D/C.
Tim & Lily: Red layer of RGB. Burned, dodged, cropped. Tim's one of my four older brothers. The one who used to lift his mattress in his top bunk bed and spit on me below. Seriously.
